THE RIGHT CLOTHES FOR THE RIGHT FOOD

Sometimes wearing orange is a smart thing to do.
Especially when eating Chamorro food.

I bumped into a friend during lunch and sat across him as he ate red rice and chalakilis while wearing a bright orange t-shirt.

I told him, "Amigo, tåya' guaha yanggen un na' måncha i franelå-mo!"

"Friend, it doesn't matter if you stain your t-shirt."

By the way, how do you say "orange" in Chamorro?

Kolot kåhet.  Literally, the "color of an orange fruit."
