In honor of the Chamorro community that lived in Yap from the 1880s until 1948, which was the theme for this year's Homecoming Festival in Yap this past weekend, here are some photos of the grave sites of some of these Yap Chamorros who later moved to and died in Tinian.

  1. My grandmother Augustina Mangloña Quichocho-Inos' first cousin Consolacion Mangloña Ayuyu-Fleming b.08/31/1938-d.2006?, was married to Albert Flores Fleming b.07/17/1917-d.07/04/1978.

  2. My father Thomas' sister Magdalena Muña Mangloña-Hofschneider was married to Henry Carl Villagomez Hofschneider who was a brother of Edward Hofschneier. Their grandfather was German and their grandmother was Yapese.
