It may not be
tåddung (deep) in the sense of being an ancient Chamorro word, as it is actually Spanish, but it is a word rarely used and perhaps unknown to most younger Chamorros.
But the word is
desåtma, and it means to "dismantle, disassemble, take apart."
The original word in Spanish,
desarmar, means that but also to "disarm," as in to take away someone's weapon; and also to "win over" or to "placate."
Ma desåtma i belen. The belen was dismantled.
