Thanks to the Spanish language, Chamorro has a word found in very few languages around the world.
That word is CO-MOTHER-IN-LAW. In Spanish, consuegra, or in Chamorro konsuegra.
These two women, both named Terry, have children married to each other. To each other, these two ladies are KONSUEGRA. Their husbands would be konsuegro to each other. All thanks to the Spanish language, of course. But not even Italian or French has a word like this.
Suegra is the Spanish word for mother-in-law. Putting the prefix con before it means "mothers-in-law-together."
